Spirit of the Island

We believe every bottle tells a story not just of flavour, but of place, intention and emotion. Whether you’re sipping to relax, to celebrate, or to connect, our spirits are made to meet the moment.

At Isle of Wight Gin, we don’t just make spirits — we bottle up the Isle of Wight. From the botanicals we grow to the names we choose, everything we do is inspired by the land, stories, and people of this beautiful island we call home. Based in the village of Godshill, we handcraft gin, rum and vodka that reflect the island’s character, creativity, and natural rhythm.

Chinese Medicine

Grown, Distilled, Bottled

We grow many of our botanicals from sea-loving samphire to spicy Szechuan pepper and we work with brilliant local producers like Jaspers Coffee and Isle of Wight Sea Salt to add even more local soul to our spirits. Every bottle is distilled in small batches, bottled and labelled by hand, with care and connection at every step.

Designed with Synaesthesia

Distinctive Ranges, Shared Purpose

Chinese Medicine

Our spirits are not only crafted by hand, but also designed through sight, smell, and feeling.

Our head flavour designer experiences synaesthesia, a rare sensory trait where taste and smell appear as colour, shape, and movement.

Recipes are developed like visual compositions — a citrus note might appear bright and sharp, a floral might swirl softly. This unique process helps us balance flavour in a deeply intuitive way — creating gins that are felt, not just tasted.
